I bought my buddy a Pelican Eclipse wireless controller for his Xbox and he has had very little problems with it. Later I went back to Best Buy to purchase myself one and had problems from the start. The controller would not work at all with Spyhunter. With Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Brute Force and Halo it worked great for a while and would then lose the signal and lock up. I actually returned one and got another of the same model. The second one worked better than the first but it still locks up occasionally and won't work. I'm wary of using it since I don't want to get in a crucial moment in the game and it lock up. There is a difference between my buddy's controller and mine. His controller's receiver is bigger which may be the reason for the performance difference. And yes I tried putting new batteries in it.
